Information Grouping

All information in Efficient Calendar can be managed in groups. We will describe grouping with Events as an example. It is the very same for other information types.

In the case of Events, you may hope to create groups of 'Group A' or 'Group B'.

By default, an event belongs to only one group, but you may also set one event to belong to multiple groups.

The 'Other Events' group is the default group set by the software. You cannot delete or rename it. If an event does not belong to any custom group, it belongs to the 'Other Events' group.

You can also create subgroups. For example, you can create two subgroups, 'Group A-1' and 'Group A-2', within the 'Group A' group. However, you cannot create subgroups in the 'Other Events' group.
