Questions
My question is a simple one: When usinng the calendar page, how do I eliminate or delete the hours and minutes that appear?
Please don't choose "Time Grid" format in the Calendar, choose "1 Day","5 Work Week","7 Week"or "31 Month" instead.
Is there a way to export to my windows live calendar?
Our software could export as .csv file and .html file. So the data in our software could be imported to your windows live calendar if it support importing either file of the two.
I just purchased your calendar software because it has the option of being portable via USB flashdrive. I got the calendar set up on my desktop pc, with all my important dates, but I cant seem to get everything transferred to a flashdrive so I can view it on my laptop or other PCs. I have tried to find a "how to" in the user manual, but I am unable. Can you please explain to me, step by step, how to put my calendar on a flashdrive, then once I've done that, how to save the info as "new" if I update anything?
First, please download and install the portable Efficient Calendar to your USB flashdrive in our website: http://www.efficientcalendar.com/download.htm ; then, backup the data in the desktop calendar in your computer to the USB flashdrive; thirdly, restore the backup file in the portable Efficient Calendar. It will update automatically everytime you make some change in it, and it will auto backup to the folder where you install the software.
When I boot my system I am trying to make the CALENDAR screen the first screen I see.
Please choose the default view on startup as "calendar" in "Tools-options-General".
At first I installed your free Efficient Calendar software and tried it, then I took your full version (free 30 day trial) for a test drive. I rather like the look of your product, but there seems to be one glaring omission. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place, but why do the reminder 'pop up windows' (for a scheduled event) not show up when the program is closed and I'm in another program (I need to open the program for it to show up finally). I'm am also currently trying the free calendar version from 'Vueminder' and note that even their free version opens up a reminder window (to the desk top or in another program), even when the program is closed. I'd rather get your product as I like the look and interface very much, but having a reminder show up is most important - perhaps I'm not setting the event up properly, but I think I've tried everything.
Please try to choose the option "Click Close to minimize program" in the "Tools-Options-General".
